JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
A large Health Insurance Industry client seeking SAS Programmers for temporary to permanent positions in Center City Philadelphia. These are
programming positions in a production environment — duties will not involve statistical analysis. The responsibilities will include data
processing, extraction, production support, and report generation utilizing SAS, SQL and VBA.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years professional experience in SAS Programming in a production environment
- 2 plus years of MS Access experience (reporting, manipulating data, development)
- Analyst background required.
- Health insurance industry experience desired
- Must have college degree and be eligible for full time employment without sponsorship after a 6 month period
Business Analyst with SAS

Responsible for coordinating and carrying out health services research and analysis projects. Develop measures of quality and efficiency to assess provider performance. Conduct health services research using clinical, survey, or administrative data in support of Informatics analytical projects. BA or BS degree in public health, statistics, economics, mathematics, epidemiology, health care, or related quantitative area, or equivalent experience. Three to five years experience analyzing large datasets, demonstrable technical experience and data management skills including data development, data extraction, transformation, QA, and metadata capabilities, sophisticated statistical analytic skills.
