Title: Senior SAS Programmer Analyst
Company: Pharmaceutical Company
Location: Southwestern PA
Status: Full-time consulting engagement – 40 hours/week
Length: Long-term assignment: initial term 12 months

They aim to be the premier partner to healthcare professionals and payment providers, delivering an innovative suite of complementary diagnostics, drugs, devices and clinical data to meet the needs of patients in areas such as pain, urology, oncology and endocrinology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop SAS Macros, templates and utilities for data cleaning and reporting
  • Help to set up the in-house SAS system to support the Health Outcomes and
  • Pharmaco Economics projects
  • Conduct health outcomes analyses, programming, and report preparation
Required skills:
  • M.S. or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
  • Expert programming skills developing SAS Macros
  • Strong experience and interest on computer systems
  • Demonstrated track records improving system efficiency and performance.
  • At least 6 years of experience working with SAS in pharmaceutical, health care related
  • consultant firms or insurance companies
  • Solid analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
Preferred skills:
  • Good technical skills with computer systems (Windows Server) and other
  • software package such as Visual Basic and R
  • Publication or presentation records related to SAS macros or utilities
  • Advanced certification for SAS programming
