Responsible for providing information based analyses for cobrand credit cards. Assists in complex analyses to achieve account, campaign and total portfolio revenue, expense, margin and yield targets. Will utilize segmentation, partner, and BAC relationship information as well as other financial, risk and modeling tools to play a supporting role in providing strategic direction for acquisitions, pricing, balance building and usage campaigns. Work closely with marketing teams as well as Cobrand product owners to provide timely solutions. Develop reporting tools to track actual versus forecasted performance as well as overview of key performance metrics for new & existing efforts.

Qualifications

Job Description
The Bank of America Analysis and Information Management department uses customer information and information technology to develop predictive behavioral models that guide decision-making. Decisions regarding the management of a consumer credit card account - account approval, pricing, credit line assignment, credit line increases and decreases, promotional offers, account retention efforts and more - are made using the predictive models we develop.

The Market Information Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, managing and assessing the performance of those models. This position requires a strong background and interest in quantitative business analysis and statistical modeling techniques. Model results will need to be communicated effectively to the business units that will ultimately employ these tools to make decisions and guide strategies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Development of statistical models using linear and logistic regression
  • Integration of statistical models into a valuation framework and ownership of that framework
  • Application of constrained optimization techniques (LP, IP) to a valuation framework
  • Tracking of model and valuation validity as well as decision making quality
  • Providing financial analyses, impact assessments etc. related to model installation or adjustment
  • Pulling database extracts for use in model development or model tracking

Qualifications - Required:

  • Familiarity with regression techniques and experimental design
