Market Research Manager- Promotion Response Insight

Description: Enhance decision support around promotional resource allocation by evaluating and recommending promotional channels and techniques to maximize commercial brand performance. This support is based on secondary and primary quantitative analyses. Identify financial return and strategic fit for these promotional channels and techniques across brands and markets.
  • Interface with BU leadership and provide input into effective promotional channel deployment and management (15%)
  • Identify novel promotional tools and techniques and conduct research on their effectiveness (15%)
  • Analyze (and in some cases, manage and build) existing promotional databases (25%)

  • Investigate and utilize international promotional databases (15%)
  • Design, conduct, and analyze the results of small area measurement tests of novel promotional tools and techniques (20%)

  • Conduct ROI analysis where feasible (5%)
Requirements BA required
  • Masters preferred (MBA or equivalent)
  • 3+ years background in pharmaceutical promotion response modeling required
  • 2+ years as marketing analyst required.
  • Accountability & Ownership
Strong analytic skills and demonstrated expertise in evaluation and project management will ensure focus on timely accomplishment of projects. Needs to have the skill to overcome obstacles such as data availability through creative designs of analysis.

Knowledge of SAS (Base, Stat) will provide the tools to accomplish analytics in house and to work independently from outside consultants. Ability to work under tight deadlines
