The Philadelphia Area SAS Users Group Winter Meeting will held be on Wednesday, March 1, 2000 at 1:00 PM, and will be hosted by Merck & Co., at their site in West Point, PA. A and detailed driving instructions are available. Please read the driving instructions for important parking and check-in procedures.

For security reasons, Merck is requiring you to send an email to elizabeth_heath@merck.com by Friday, February 25^th, indicating that you will attend the PhilaSUG meeting on March 1^st. Simply include your name and company affiliation in the body of the email and use "PhilaSUG Attendee" as the subject of the email. Your name will then be at the Merck Security Guard House when you arrive. Please read the driving instructions for important check-in procedures.

Registration will begin at 12:15 PM and the meeting will commence at 1 PM. Please try to arrive a little early to register, as this will allow the meeting to begin promptly. This is the first meeting of 2000 and everyone must register and pay dues. Dues for the calendar year are $20, and includes admission to meetings throughout the calendar year. There are no other fees for attending PhilaSUG meetings. We will accept cash, but a check is preferred. If you are a student and present a current matriculation card fees will be waivered. Employees of Merck & Company, our sponsor for this meeting, will be admitted at no charge but we do request they register. Registration can be made faster and easier if you can provide a business card.

Please do not pre-register; this creates unnecessary paper work. Receipts will be available at registration time, and once again, please try to arrive a bit early to help facilitate a prompt start time.

SNOW and Other Inconveniences: In case it snows, or the weather is severely inclement, such as terribly icy roads, call 215-489-2833 after 10:00 AM on the day of the meeting. We will have a recorded message advising that the meeting is ON or OFF. If the meeting has to be cancelled it will not be rescheduled.

This meeting is being hosted by Merck's Blue Bell statistical programming group within the Biostatistics and Research Data Systems department. This is a group of over 30 SAS programmers supporting Biostatisticians for the statistical analysis of phase II/III clinical trials.
