Department of Mathematics West Chester University Joint Statistical Analysis Certificate with SAS®. WCU Applied Statistics has become a Preferred Academic Program of SAS Statistical Software. The Graduate Program in Applied Statistics now offers eligible students the opportunity to earn a SAS certificate. Because today's jobs depend upon your ability to analyze and interpret data, you need the knowledge and technical skills to make decisions that stand up to scrutiny from your supervisors, clients, and customers. A Master's in Applied Statistics combined with a SAS certificate provide you with the tools you need to be confident that you are backed by proven methodology, a solid plan, and strong data-driven assessments. The certificate recognizes your practical and theoretical knowledge and it confirms that you have the tools that you need to handle and analyze data/modeling problems for your organization. Any student completing STA511, STA512, STA513, and STA514 with a grade of 'B' of better in each class will be eligible for the SAS Certificate. The SAS Institute has endorsed the Master of Science in Business Intelligence & Analytics Program within the Haub School of Business and presents those who completed its program with a Business Intelligence Certificate, certified by SAS. This certificate gives graduates of the program a valuable competitive advantage in the professional arena, especially when proficiency in data mining and business intelligence are essential.
In addition to this partnership with the SAS Institute, the Haub School of Business is further distinguished by AACSB International accreditation. This distinction puts us in the top five percent of business schools in the world. The Master of Science in Business Intelligence & Analytics Program at Saint Joseph's University is one of the few STEM programs that offer an advanced BI education in a business context. Together with the SAS Business Intelligence Certificate, this offers unique professional credentials to graduates of this program.
Due to the high demand for SAS Training in the area, Arcadia University will be offering SAS-I (Introduction to SAS)
in the Fall (late August start) and in the Spring (mid-January start). Classes are limited to 15 students and are available on a first come/first serve basis.
SAS-II (Intermediate SAS) will then be offered in the Spring (mid-January start for those that took SAS-I in the Fall) and in the Fall
(late August start for those that took SAS-I in the Spring). Should enrollment in any of the classes fall too low, there is a possibility the class may not run.
